Rob Ryan
President

Rob is a seasoned executive, who has served as the company’s Director of Sales since July 2011. He’s grown the company’s market share, and customer base over the last year, by listening to the companies channel customers, and bringing his experience to their benefit daily with a rabid focus on putting the “customer first.” Rob is a 23+ year sales executive and multiple-time CEO. Over the last 10 years, Rob has led operational turnarounds and driven revenue growth for a number of early stage companies. Rob served nearly 6 years as the CEO of Fugu Holdings LLC; a Global Business Development firm based in the Los Angeles, Tokyo and Taipei, Taiwan and was founding CEO of BiziMobile Inc., an early mover in the sales-automation/CRM software space at age 29. He has built companies in the software, management consulting, clean energy, and financial services industries. He has done so in the US and abroad where he traveled extensively to build personal, corporate and government relationships dozens of countries. Rob has raised millions in venture capital and Private equity capital and created hundreds of millions in revenue over the course of his career.

Rob was born and raised in Chicago, attended Arizona State University and now from San Clemente, Ca. where he lives, is the proud single father of his college aged daughter. He is an active community and church member, as well as volunteer and former Non-profit Board member.

Bob Erickson
Chief Operating Officer & Board Member

Bob joined HEROware’s leadership team, as Chief Operating Officer in January 2011. During his tenure, Bob has focused on scaling day to day operations, and systems to support significant growth. Bob oversees all administrative and systems functions within the company and is striving to improve all systems so that they enable a simpler, better customer experience. He brings over 23 years of experience implementing business and technology solutions as a Partner at Accenture, and then as Corporate Vice President & General Manager of the Western Region for Avanade, the multinational subsidiary of Accenture plc., focused on IT consulting and software development of business software for the Microsoft products platform. He has extensive experience in helping companies succeed through technology and business process change and has driven significant growth of consulting services organizations while consistently improving bottom line results. Bob has maintained a high level of customer focus throughout his career, running large scale accounts to deliver results and highly satisfied customers.

Bob has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Economics from UC Irvine. He has been married for 17 years and has a daughter and a son. Bob enjoys cycling, golfing, skiing and home renovation.

Paul Moore
Vice President of Professional Services & Customer Support

Paul is one of the earliest employees of HEROware. He has brought his more than 20+ years of professional Corporate I.T. experience to the benefit of HEROware’s channel customers in a variety of ways both visible and behind the scenes at the company for more nearly 4 years. Just prior to joining HEROware in its startup phase, Paul served 15 years as the Vice President of Management Information Systems, for a specialty financial services firm, Bankruptcy Management Solutions, a Division of JP Morgan Chase. While there he oversaw their nationwide networks, as well as was responsible for all of their Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and systems. He is an expert in this field. Paul’s vast experiences on both the side of the channel customer/IT provider, as well as that of the IT consumer/Corporate IT executive, lend him a unique perspective of understanding both how products like HEROware’s are sold and deployed from both a business use case and technology implementation standpoint. This experienced perspective is particularly invaluable to our channel customers who themselves are localized IT providers, seeking to promote our products and their services into the SMB through SME corporate markets. Paul is an expert in our Real Time Replication-Fast, Full Server Failover Defender products, and oversees an evolving team of Customer Support staff, where he works hand in hand with our Sales staff on serving our customers’ needs and always striving to make it easier to do business with the company.

Paul and his wife live in South Orange County, and he is the proud father of two adult children. He’s an active volunteer in his community and a great, avid golfer!

Skip Coomber
Chairman of the Board of Directors

Skip Coomber is a lifetime entrepreneur with a legal and investment background. Skip was the founding partner of a 50+ partner, Southern California law firm, with offices in San Diego and downtown Los Angeles. Subsequently, Skip served as CEO of a (private family office corporation). Skip was also a co-founder and President of 1800Medicine, Inc., an online medical commerce startup which is a provider of medical services and products to the Medicare population, and of which he is still a shareholder and board member. Skip is a diversified investor with holdings in a number of hedge funds, venture capital and private equity funds, as well as diverse real estate holdings. Uniquely, Skip and his family are also very active owners in the wine industry, through their investments in (Terravant, Inc., INCEPTION Wine and now COOMBER FAMILY RANCH wine as examples). Skip sits on the board of a public corporation (NASDAQ-Big Dog Holdings, Inc., subsequently, The Walking Company Holdings, Inc.) and served as one of nine trustees on the now $9 billion San Diego County pension fund.

Skip is a regularly invited keynote speaker, and panelist at various investment conferences worldwide and has served on the boards of many non-profit corporations, including the Feeding America San Diego Food Bank, the San Diego Blood Bank Foundation, The Exceptional Children’s Foundation (for “At Risk” children) and the Stevens Cancer Division of the Scripps Health Foundation in San Diego, California where he and his family live.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Company’s current Board of Directors consists of (5) members: Skip Coomber (Chairman), Lynn Shourds (Founder), Bob Erickson (COO/Member), Joe Beery (Member) and Alan Schaefer (Member). Skip Coomber serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Bob Erickson serves as Secretary.

Joe Beery-Board Member

Joe Beery is Chief Information Officer for Life Technologies (NASDAQ “LIFE”), a role he has held since taking the position at Invitrogen beginning September 2008. He has spearheaded the implementation of IT programs to support the merger of Invitrogen and Applied Biosystems and the seamless integration of systems supporting a 50,000-product portfolio.

Prior to Invitrogen, Mr. Beery held the executive position of Chief Information Officer at US Airways and America West Airlines. Previously, Mr. Beery spent ten years at Motorola Semiconductor, holding various positions in the computer integrated manufacturing group. Mr. Beery also served as a manufacturing and software engineer at NV Philips in Albuquerque, N.M. Mr. Beery holds a B.S. in business administration and business computer systems from the University of New Mexico.
